Ernie and I, eternal optimists.
So, we’re about to kick off our first campaign with our new client, Princess, and I’m psyched. This is my favorite part of the entire process.
I love the anxious excitement of the initial briefing that comes with the endless possibilities laid out before us. I love the digging. I love picking apart what the competition’s doing and finding our own unique vision and voice. I love the learning. I love getting into the heads of potential customers. I love the opportunity to help Princess reintroduce themselves and begin the conversation anew. I love finding that nugget that’s really going to connect, and crafting the perfect way to engage them with it.
I love the entire wild-eyed, fuzzy-faced team here at Ignited pulling together and doing whatever they can to help each other, so we blow away the client at that first creative presentation. I love the possibility of hitting on something really big. I love the chance to make some client really, really jazzed about the future. I love pretending to be naïve to the limitations I know exist and seeing where we can take it anyway. I love that no one’s told us “no” yet. I love this boat.
Take it away, Ernie.
(Apologies to the client. Ernie doesn't know to call it a "ship.")
(Oh, and I also love Jim Henson, Sesame Street and the Muppets.)
