This past week, Ignited launched a national tour on behalf of Osmo, an award-winning educational game system for iOS and Android.
Tangible Play Inc. — the business behind the Osmo brand — was founded in 2013 by Pramod Sharma and Jerome Scholler, who set out to create “something awesome that inspires the youngest generation,” while at the same time addressing a concern of many parents about how to have their children interact with technology without losing the value of hands-on play.
Osmo’s groundbreaking system fosters social intelligence and creative thinking by opening up tablets to endless possibilities of physical play.
Over the course of 11 weeks, Osmo will hit 22 shopping malls in markets up and down the East and West Coasts.
The activation consists of demos, hands-on fun, retail sales opportunities, and surprises along the way.
To date Osmo has been named one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions, is a Parents’ Choice award winner, a winner of the prestigious Oppenheim award, and a 2016 finalist for Toy of The Year. Osmo is sold in over 42 countries and has been embraced in more than 30,000 schools. Tangible Play Inc. is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
